The SL16 Multibolt has gained an enviable reputation in all markets for strength and reliability in many years of successful service. This version is a latch and deadbolt centre case with 2 additional bolt locking points. It is lift lever operation as standard but can be easily converted to use the split spindle function.
To enable the split spindle function the pin that surrounds the spindle hole must be broken by lifting the outside handle up at the same time as pushing the inside handle down. A noise will be heard which confirms the action, and with the spindles correctly set the latch will now only operate using the external key and by operating the internal handle.
