British Standard 3 Star
British Standard 3* cylinders offer the maximum in cylinder security, having passed all criteria set out in the TS007 British Standard Kitemark including newer lock snapping tests. This makes British Standard 3* the first choice for many locksmiths when it comes to fitting external doors.
Alternatively, you can still protect yourself again lock snapping by fitting your door with a British Standard 2* armoured handle or cylinder guard in addition to a British Standard 1* cylinder.
