Avocet Affinity Bastion Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt has a 20mm trivalent finish faceplate with radiused ends making it ideally suited for use on timber & composite doors. It is fitted with 4 opposing hooks for maximum resistance to lifting attack. It has twin spindles meaning that it can be used as either a straight forward lever/lever operation (using just the 92mm spindle) or as a split spindle (lever/pad) operation when using both the 92 and 62mm spindles.
There is a 16mm throw on the deadbolt, a 24mm throw on the hook bolts and the latch is both sprung loaded and reversible. This locking mechanism has been endurance tested to 100,000 operations and complies with BS EN 1670 Class 5 and is tested to PAS24.
